When it comes to real-world, what you have studied in your college or university doesn’t matter. What matters is what skills you have and how those skills are relevant to the current job market trend. The employment percentage of freshly graduated students is falling down and is currently at 10%. Which means only 10% of the graduates are getting the job in the same field and rest despite having a good academic score, either head for a compromising job or end up doing further studies.
No doubt college education provides the base of your career but the real world requires additional knowledge of the subject matter if you want to crack that interview and get your dream job.
